Type II collagen is the fibre-forming form of collagen that is found primarily in elastic cartilage tissue. This cartilage tissue is particularly relevant for the joints, providing pressure elasticity and a smooth surface. So support the maintenance of the structure and elasticity of the cartilage with UC-II!

Enriched with vitamin C

We have supplemented UC-II with vitamin C. This, along with collagen type II, has been shown to support collagen synthesis and therefore healthy cartilage function. A lack of vitamin C can lead to poor elasticity in skin, bones and cartilage. Athletes in particular have an increased need for vitamin C, which means that a sufficient supply should be ensured.
